Enhanced ground proximity warning system

In this paper the main characteristics and functionality of the Honeywell MK VI Enhanced Ground Proximity Warn-ing System are given. The System, intended for the modernization of the Antonov 26, predicts a potential conflict be-tween the aircraft flight path and terrain or an obstacle. A possible conflict will result in the system providing a visual and audio caution or warning alert.
