APPLICATION OF THE COMPLEX RANDOM FUNCTIONS THEORY IN THE EVALUATION OF SHAPED CHARGE QUALITY

The method of the shaped charge penetrability testing without using the armour is exposed. The method is based on the application of the complex random functions theory and high-speed radiography techniques. The proposed method is applied in testing the penetrability of the 90 mm caliber shaped charge. Besides this penetrability test, it is also shown that the method enables the quality evaluation of this type of warheads.
