SEPARATION OF MOTIONS IN PROJECTILE FLIGHT DYNAMICS

The results of the author’s research concerning the applicability of existing methods for the separation of differential equations systems of spin stabilized projectiles into slow and fast motion equations are given. The mathematical solution of the problems of this class is usnatly reduced to studying a certain system of differential equations containing a small parameter. The methods are mainly based on a certain transformation original set of differential equations that gives other set (but rather greater in size than the original up to two times) of equations (differential as well as integro-differential equations, solutions of which are more complicated than the original equations), more convenient for solutions or/and approximations.
