DISTRIBUTION OF LASER RADIATION REFLECTED FROM PERIODICALLY ROUGH SURFACE

The angular distribution of laser  radiation reflected from periodically rough object surface has been analyzed as well as the effects of space frequency and the amplitude of sine-shaped roughness and the incidence angle of laser ra-diation on the angular distribution of the reflection coefficient modulus. Ide-ally conductive reflecting surfaces have been presupposed and their roug-hness is described by one or two sine waves of different amplitudes and space frequencies in one-axis direction and different space frequencies in the direction of both axes of the Descartes coordinate system. The relations for the reflection coefficient for conducting surfaces of sine-shaped roughness have been derived on the basis of the general Kirchoff theory of elec-tromagnetic wave reflection.
