Planetary gears, as nonlinear dynamic systems, have been investigated in turbulent damping. A samplified dynamic model has been created-disturbances of functioning, forming and assembling of system elements have been presented by a special distribution of disturbing masses and the turbulent damping has been taken proportionally to the second degree of gear revolution angular rate. Potential and kinetic energy are determined as well as differential equations of gear motion. The numerical simulation for a real planetary gear has been carried out. The graphically presented relations between the potential energy and generated coordinates, constant energy lines as well as the integral curve in the phase plane have been obtained. The cross-sections of phase trajectories and the constant energy curves have been analyzed.
