The interior ballistics problem of firning process in small arms in cosidered. A mathematical model of a so-called two-phase flow, which is described by gas - dynamic partial differntial equations systems, in used, without deducing them. The partial diffential equations sistem has been solved numericaly by the finite difference method. The initial parameters variations and their influence on the calculation results are numericaly analyzed. The numerical results are compared with experimental results and some conclusions are defined.
