TARGET POSITION MEASURING DURING AUTOMATIC TRACKING

A target position during automatic tracking is measured by optoelectronic sensors. The description of the measuring procedure also includes relations for the calculation of target coordinates, based on sensors data. Measurement errors are analysed. Mathematical relations for the calculation of measurement error covariant matrix are given. Measuring synchronization procedures are proposed as well as testing of measurement results validity. The effects of measurement quality on tracking accuracy are analysed as well.
