THE AIR PROPELLER OF A SPECIAL DESIGN AS A HEAT PUMP

Abstract: It has been shown that a vortex heat pump is realized when effective separated flow is formed behind the blades of functioning air propeller. The paper demonstrates that the blades of the air propeller should not operate in the mode of pulling propeller or pushing propeller. Incident airflow formed by the ventilator acts only on the airflow, scattered by the propeller, with its flat surface and directs it into the rarefaction area. The conditions when vortex heat pump operates with maximum conversion of thermal energy of the airflow into the electrical energy have been determined. Using computer simulation, the configuration of the propeller blades which corresponds to the maximum coefficient of performance of the heat pump has been found out.
