Abstract: The paper contains an analysis of construction parameters of gas operated weapons. The description of a gas operation system and interior ballistics data for closed barrel M21 automatic rifle was made. Mathematical analysis of Bravin has been described. The algorithm was made and simulation in Matlab was done. In addition varying the selected parameters in the simulation and analysis of results were done.
