Abstract: The modernization of older generation C band radars implies the application of modern digital technologies in receiving and signal processing. It is most often used software defined radio approach. After this successful   implementation, other radar modules can be replaced by new ones. We chose often used and simple GNN algorithm. In this paper we proposed and presented the targets tracking system in a software radar receiver. After the theoretical analysis, a realization of the processing of radar signals in real time is achieved. Comparative analysis of the results of detection and tracking of multiple targets between the offline and processing in real time on the appropriate hardware components is shown. The performed numerical experiments confirmed the justification of the application of proposed solution for tracking more than 20 targets in the weak clutterr.
