PERSPECTIVES OF USE OF switched reluctance motors IN COMBAT VEHICLES

Abstract: The article makes a proposal for the use of switched reluctance motors for military transport and combat vehicles. They are compared in terms of reliability, energy source, energy consumption, size and weight. The advantages of switched reluctance motors and the prospects for their use are exhibited. A principle solution for drive operation is proposed.
