INVESTIGATION OF CIVIL AVIATION ACCIDENTS AND SERIOUS INCIDENTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

Abstract: The author of the paper has participated in the civil aviation accidents and serious incidents investigation since 2006. Some basic facts of the process and results of investigation of the accidents and serious incidents in civil aviation of the Republic of Serbia are presented in this paper.

The paper deals with the period 2006 to first half 2013 and, besides some basic principles of the accidents and serious incidents investigation, it gives some statistical data as well as the analysis of the causes of some characteristic occurrences. Also some problems that have exited in the investigation of the accidents and serious incidents in civil aviation on the Republic of Serbia territory are  emphasized.
