Abstract: There are several non-destructive testing techniques, but thermography is becoming one of the most common. The infrared technology (IR) has been integrated into many different industries as preventive way in developing and testing. Thermography gives information about surface conditions and the structure of materials. Thе aim of the paper is the description of energy distribution when the material is exposed to a thermal excitation.
