Abstract: It is very important to become familiar with condition-monitoring techniques in order to diagnose faults of rotating machinery properly. As well a solid knowledge of typical spectral Figures of different faults in rotating systems contributes to predictive maintenance. LabVIEW application for computer simulation is presented in this paper. The research is related to a physical model of "Electric motor with rotating disc". Simulated signals were correlated to the theoretical spectra and appropriate conclusions were made. On the bases of these spectral patterns a possible cause of mechanical trouble of machinery can be simply recognized and repaired.

Key words: Vibration, Spectrum, Condition Monitoring.
