COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DETERMINING THE DISTANCE FOLLOWED BY THE INTEGRATION OF OBJECT SPEED AND FMCW MODULATION OF TRANSMITTING SIGNAL

Abstract: In this paper, two methods for determining the distance to the target were analyzed and demonstrated. The first method refers to the CW Doppler radar is based on the integration of speed. Another method relates to the FMCW mode where the transmitter signal is used as a triangular shape signal. Measurements were performed with ballistic 3D tracking radar MFDR 120040, while data processing is done in the software packages WINTRACK 2009 and MATLAB
