WIDEBAND DIRECTION FINDER WITH L-SHAPE ANTENNA ARRAY

Abstract: This paper presents the results of estimation of direction of arrival (azimuth and elevation) of radio signals using correlative interferometer method in combination with L-shape antenna array equipped with seven elements. In the proposed solution for direction finder for HF frequency band the number of direction finder’s channels is lower than antenna elements in DF’s antenna array. In order to achieve better accuracy, different types of averaging have been implemented in the proposed solution. The performances of the proposed method are illustrated by the results of simulations. |
