АNALYSIS of MEASURING UNCERTAINTY OF ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE CALIBRATION OF THE DIGITAL MULTIMETER HP 3456A WITHIN INTERLABORATORY COMPARISON

Abstract: Method of electrical resistance calibration, measuring equipment for verification and calibration results of the digital multimeter HP 3456A in Technical Test Center (TOC), Department of Metrology, with emphasis on evalution and expression of the measuring uncertainty within Interlaboratory Comparison (ILP) are presented. The participants were six accredition laboratories of Accreditation Board of Serbia (ATS) and Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals from Serbia (DMDM) as the pivot (reference) laboratory. The main targets were to demonstrate equivalence of metrological practice and to confirm TOC uncertainty budget for electrical resistance. The results of measurements showed agreement between participant laboratory TOC, Department of Metrology, metrological laboratory ML-01 and DMDM, Department of Electrical Quantities, Laboratory for electrical resistance as pivot (reference) laboratory, both for the nominal resistance 100 Ω and 10 kΩ, and proved equivalence.
