Abstract: At one generation combat vehicle frequently is occurred unsuccessful engine startup, because short working time of transmission electric pump in the first stage of electrical startup. At this stage, which is time restricted, is realized direct connecting rotor of electric starter with the engine crankshaft. Solid connection is provided by rotation rotor of electric starter with small rate and simultaneously moving claw coupling mechanism. Mechanism shifting is achieved by oil pressure, which generates by auxiliary, electric, transmission oil pump. Toward increasing startup reliability, modification is made in the system for electrically startup, which is described in this paper. In modification, pump is activated automatically on some period before starting the first stage of electrically startup. It is achieved optimization of time which insured certain, solid connection between electric starter and engine. This modification solution is increased efficiency of engine startup.
