PRODUCTION POSSIBILITIES OF CERAMIC TILES FOR BULLETPROOF VESTS IN SERBIA

Abstract: Possibilities of production and applying of ceramis, especially silicon carbide ceramics for making bulletproof vests are presented. The paper describes the technological process and testing results of sintered carbide discs (tiles), and their application for vests manufacturing. Special attention was paid to the possible carbide discs production in Serbia.
