Abstract: Methodology for support and optimization of higher demanded level of complex communication network reliability is presented in this paper, for which software package based on Monte Carlo simulation method is developed which generates sum of possible solutions-paths with achieved required reliability level. In so generated sum of possible paths, by application of developed software for multicriteria optimization, communication network with optimal path is selected. By optimal path selection, selection of path with best achieved criteria is understood which are maximal network reliability as well as minimal average mean time between failures of nodes and links. For all developed methods corresponding software is implemented, and application of methods is illustrated by corresponding examples. Software packages are written in VISUAL BASIC 6.0 program language
