Abstract: This article describes automated measurements of fixed attenuators, based on parallel intermediate frequency (IF) substitution technique in frequency region up to 26,5 GHz. Mixer is operating in fundemental frequency. A precision piston is operating at 30 MHz, and is used as a standard. This method is good for waveguide measurement in frequency region up to 40 GHz. GPIB intrface is used for Automatic System.
