Abstract: The level of ambient noise in the acoustic domain is significantly different depending on the environment and weather conditions. This paper presents the effect of reducing the level of parasitic signals using the appropriate type of microphone and microphone design protection. The effect of rain has been tested on the level of parasitic signals at the microphone with and without protection. All presented results are based on experimental measurements.
