Abstract:  Providing the required tractive performances, with minimal volume and weight of the driveline and maximum efficiency in all motion conditions, is one of the main tasks of the combat vehicles development. It has been different approaches to solve this task, using new technologies and solutions. The increasing presence of electrical systems on combat vehicles imposed consideration of the new drives implementation, where it will be used electricity in addition to its conventional power with internal combustion engines. This paper presents the state and development of modern combat vehicles hybrid drives, which should contribute to the overall quality of the vehicle
