Abstract: The aim of this paper is to study the various formulation of the composite rocket propellants for propulsive charges of start motor RS "KUB-M", that would meet the requirements of the characteristics obtained during the periodical testing and the technical check of the propulsive charges. During the research the mass percentage of the solid phases was varied: ammonium perchlorate, aluminum and burning rate catalyst. Different types of prepolymers and two types of curing agents were used in the composition of the fuel binder components. The impact of change on viscosity with time for the obtained composition is followed. The mehanical properties of uniaxial strain were determinated and the laws of burning rate were calculated for all composition based on the tested the results of ballistic characteristics.
