Abstract: The paper gives the results of preparing plastic bonded explosive (PBX), based on octogen (HMX) and polimer phlegmatizer – Estane, by the solvent–slurry technique. The phlegmatization results (quality of coating layer on HMX crystals) are realized by microscopic analysis. The sensitivity of LX-14 (HMX/Estane 95/5) and PBX-9011(HMX/Estane 90/10) granulas to friction and impact are presented as well as experimental detonation velocity of pressed PBX. Compresibility of LX-14 and PBX-9011 are determining by cold and hot pressing.
