Abstract: Winding structures denotes number of layers and winding angle at which a reinforcing fiber is wound, regarding an axial axe of tube. Tubes with four different winding structures were produced by filament winding technology of glass roving impregnated by polyester resin system. A test tubes for hydraulic testing and ring specimen for mechanical investigation were produced by machining procedure. Test tubes with four different winding structures were exposed to the influence of internal fluid hydraulic pressure and burst pressure, radial deformation and radius displacement were determined. Ring specimen were exposed to tensile stress and ultimate strength were determined. A detail analysis of date recorded during tests and finally obtained values were done. It is concluded that winding structure has essential influence on hydraulic and mechanical properties of filament wound composite plastic tubes.
