ROCKET MOTOR THRUST OF THE PILOT′S SEAT IDENTIFIED BY THE BASIC TEST OF FLIGHT

The pilot′s seat rocket motor has a complex geometrical shape with several nozzles so that its thrust acts under a certain angle in relation to the plane of symmetry of the pilot′s seat. The experiment was carried out by ejecting a pilot′s seat with a dummy simulating a mass of a pilot. The paper presents an analysis of the pilot's seat flight in the initial period of ejection, during the rocket motor burning. The results of acceleration read-outs have been processed. These results have been used for the identification of the pilot′s seat rocket motor thrust. The results of that analysis are presented.
