RADIOFREQUENCY RADIATION FROM MOBILE TELEPHONES AND INFLUENCE TO HUMANS

Mobile telephones are the most frequently used sources of radiofrequency (RF) radiation to which the general population is exposed nowadays. In mobile telephony RF radiatiojn of frequency from 450 MHz to 2200 MHz is used. The antenna of mobile phone is in a immediate vicinity of the head (at the distance of 1-7 cm). About 50% of RF radiation from the phone is absorbed in head tissues of users. The scientific data do not demonstrate that mobile phones are harmfull to the human health, neither that RF radiation from mobile phones have cancerogen effects. Health disturbances of users are not confirmed in scientific literature, but there is no evidence that mobile phones are safe devices.
