EFFECTS OF CURING AGENTS ON VISCOSITY OF COMPOSITE ROCKET PROPELLANTS BASED ON CARBOXY-TERMINATED POLYBUTADIENE PREPOLYMERS

 Mirjana Petrić

The paper analyses time dependences of viscosity of composite rocket propellants based on carboxy-terminated polybutadiene homopolymers (Butarez CTL I, Butarez CTL II, HC-434), copolymers (CTBN 1300x15) and tetrapolymers (BD-AN-MK) related to the types of curing agents (MAPO, EPON-812). The effects of aniline on viscosity and mechanical properties during tension in the propellant with the MAPO curing agent have been examined as well as the effects of triethylentetramines, i.e. tetracyclines in the propellant with the EPON 812 curing agent.
