OPTIMIZATION OF THE QUALITY OF THE CON-CRETE MATRIX BY INTRODUCING SUPERPLASTIFIERS AND ITS REINFORCEMENT BY STEEL FIBRES

Optimization of the concrete matrix characteristics in order to reinforce it by steel fibres is one of prerequisites for fibrous concrete design. Types of components and contents of superplastifiers, cohesive emulsions and binders are determined selectively in order to achieve a required degree of concrete matrix cohesivity. Mixing a chosen type of steel fibres into the matrix prepared in such a way, it is possible to create more precisely physico-mechanical properties of reinforced fibrous concrete, according to design requirements.
