The design of fighting vehicle hulls, particularly of light ligh-speed fighting vehicle hulls is a complex task. The complexity of that task is derived form its complex aim due to the fact that the hull is a subsystem which incorporates all vehicle subsystems in the whole, protects the vehicle from projectiles and it is used as a support construction of vehicles. The basic knowledge principles and methods which are used in the design of light high-speed tracked vehicles are systematically presented in the paper.
