COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF OPTIMIZED TRIPLETS BY THE METHOD OF DAMPED LEAST SQUARES, GENETIC ALGORITHM AND EVOLUTIONARY STRATEGIES

The basic characteristic of triplets have been presented while the possibilities of their design and optimization have been analysed in detail. The chosen Cooke triplet has been optimized by the standard method of damped least squares as well as by modern methods such as the adaptive stationary genetic algorithm and the evolutionary strategies (binomial EVOL and polynomial GRUP, REKO and KORR). The primary monochromatic aberrations have been analysed for every optimized triplet in particular and their values have been compared with the aberrations of the initial optical system.
