The objective of the investigation was to define a technological procedure of forming  thin-wall  rocket  motor  chambers out of martensite-aged steels (Fe-Ni-Co-Mo-Ti). The TIG welding procedure was defined as well as heat treatment technologies of welded joints in 2,8 mm thick hot-rolled strips. Testing of the optimum heat treatment of welded joints implied combinations of quenching and aging before and after welding as well as testing  their effects on steel structure and mechanical properties. The most optimum welded joint structure and properties were obtained after welded joint quenching and aging – the obtained joint strength presents 80% of the base material strength.
