MEASURING AERODY­NAMIC FORCE STABILITY DERIVATIVES IN A TRISONIC WIND TUNNEL

Stability derivatives have being measured in the T-38 wind tunnel of YA for more than twenty years. The measurements have shown that it is necessary to enable transferring aerodynamic moment stability derivatives from a point were the measurement was carried out into a new chosen point. Therefore, aerodynamic force derivatives are necessary to be measured. The procedure descirbed here enables the application of the already existing aerodynamic stability derivatives equipment for determining aerodynamic derivatives of Y and Z forces.
