ANALYTICAL METHOD OF DEFINING SIMILAR VALVES CLOSING TIME DUE TO THE EFFECTS OF BLAST WAVE PRESSURE IMPULSE

Dynamic charactersitic of valves are defined relating to valves closing due to the effects of direct blast waves of nuclear  explosion and depending on resistance, geometrical characteristics and characteristics of elastic elements of similar valves as well as on the level of sensitivity to closing under effects of direct blast waves. The analytical model of the process is defined, the differential equation of motion for a mobile valve assembly is set at then solved. The analytical  criterion for valve evaluation from the aspect of closing of valves of nominal diameters from 300 to 600 mm with the resistance up to 2000 Pa is treated in particular.
