EXPOSURE TO NOISE, INFRASOUND AND ULTRASOUND OF THE STAFF OCCUPIED WITH JET AIRPLANE MAINTENANCE

The staff occupied with maintenance of jet airplane could be exposed to noise, ultrasound and infrasound. The aim of the work was to measure the entire noise level and to accomplish the octave analysis and to measure ultrasound and infrasound levels around the jet airplane. The results of measurement showed that the entire noise levels and octave sound level pressures in observed work regimes of airplane motors exceed permissible levels. The spectrum analysis of ultrasound showed it exceedings the permissible level in the third octave band with mid frequency of 20 kHz. The measured octave infrasound levels do not exceed the permissible level in any octave band.
