ANALYSIS OF EFFECTS OF GEOMETRIC PARA-METERS OF DOUBLE-CHANNEL PROPELLANT CYLINDERS ON BURNING SURFACE

Mathematical relation for determining burning surface of double-channel propellant cylinders with 8-shaped cross-section have been presented. The burning surface consists of one peripheric and two face surfaces. Change of the parimeter, burning surface and cross-section have been graphically presented as a function of propellant cylinder geometric values and the burned layer. The effect of the cylinder length on the burning surface is analysed as well as the relation between particular geometric values for which almost neutral burning conditions are achieved.
