GENERATION OF COMBAT AIRCRAFT TRAJECTORIES

Generation of maneuvering combat aircraft trajectories is of great importance to investigation of contemporary procedures of target tracking and firing by means of air defense weapons, as well as to the verification of defense tactics against contemporary aircrafts, using computer-aided simulation. Two procedures of trajctory generation are described. The first procedure is based on real-time computer aided simulation of a combat aircraft flight. The second one is a new procedure of composing the target trajectories as a sequence of fragments that correspond to different flight modes. The corresponding software is presented and illustrated by examples.
