NON-LINEAR FLUID DYNAMICS IN DISPERSIVE MEDIUM

Dr Miroslava Vukčević

Apstract:

The monograph consists of three parts. In the first part non-linear dynamics of the rotating neutral fluid in the gravitational field is considered. Three different types of the non-linear equations are derived for one-dimensional, two-dimensional and quasy-threedimensional model. Linear stability analysis has been used to derive appropriate coordinate transformations for each model. In the second part dynamics of the ionized  fluid in turbulent medium is considered. Special attention is given to analysis of dissipative affects due to particle-wave resonant interactions in given medium. The wave amplitude decreases, while the particle energy increases within such interaction and particle is able to accelerate and scatter due to gained energy. For the analysis of such interactions the kinetic equations are used. In the third part the possible application of the first two theories on the aerodynamic flow acceleration are processed. Brief review of the experimentally derived re-attachment of flow to an airfoil and the paraelectric effects at different angles of attack is given. At the end of the third part the possibility of application of the magnetic field is analyzed, as well as the topics of further research, such as derivation of the necessary conditions for transition of stochastic turbulent flow to ordered vortex structure

Key words: fluid dynamics, nonlinear dynamics, dispersive medium, solutions, vortex filed, turbulence, magneto hydrodynamics, diffusion, viscosity, nonlinear differential equations, aero dynamical flow, airfoil.
