AIRCRAFT WITH TURBOPROP ENGINE: DETERMINATON FLIGHT PERFORMANCES

Abstract:

Turboprop aircraft present an optimal constructive solution for "medium" - speed and flight altitude domains. Turboprop (COIN) aircraft may be equipped with: cameras, sensors and communications equipment. For combat actions, COIN aircraft are equipped with: machine guns, cannons, rockets, bombs and other "useful cargo". The method for estimating the turboprop aircraft performances is presented in this paper."KOBACPERF" computer program is used for the calculation of basic and special performances. Program "KOBACPERF" calculates takeoff, minimum speed, climb, cruise, maximum speed, turn, landing and flight profiles. The method and its results are illustrated by the numerical example. Significant value of this paper is the add-on with the computer program "KOBACPERF". This paper does not contain attachments with the program "KOBACPERF". Program "KOBACPERF" is a property of Military Technical Institute from Belgrade, Serbia. Computer program "KOBACPERF" is programmed in MATHCAD 14
