DAMAGE OF COMPOSITES IN WEAPONS AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT DUE TO DYNAMIC LOAD

Apstrakt
This information gives an analysis and an overview of contemporary methods for  mechanical characterisation of composites in weapons and military equipment. The presented methods describe material behaviour under static and dynamic load. Basic notions concerning composite materials are explained as well as the methodology of testing composites and the analysis of the obtained results. Notions regarding elementary damage in composites elements and in composites in the whole are discussed in particular.
