Jovanović Dragutin
Abstrakt Uncommon conditions are characterized by increased mass flow of loads and passengers. Due to its technical and technological characteristics, the railroad is suitable for traffick under such conditions and therefore most of the transportation is transferred to it. Successful railroad traffic under uncommon conditions depends on technical, material and organizational preparations. It is due to be performed in as short period as possible, in a safest possible way, avoiding exposure to disturbances and aiming at the lowest transportation costs. This paper presents a possible model for choosing an optimal mode of organizing railroad transportation in order to achieve such a goal. The concept is based on a multi criteria optimization.
Key words: railroad transportation, organization, uncommon conditions, optimization.
